A house of a thousand lives

Built at the turn of the 20th century as a workers' hotel, 53bis rue Lamarck has lived through Montmartre's history without ever losing its soul. A fashionable refuge during the war years and a silent witness to the songs written just steps away, the building is reborn today as BOHEM—a chic take on "bohemian"—promising a new Parisian life.

Paris from above

The vineyards, the Lapin Agile, the Sacré-Cœur, the rooftops of Paris—the heart of Montmartre is just steps away. From the two top-floor suites at Le Bohem, Paris stretches out to the horizon.

The Hôtel Bohem Sacré-Coeur has lived many lives. The building once housed a hotel with an entrance on Rue Caulaincourt, along with two ground-floor shops: a florist and a jeweler. Their Rue Lamarck storefronts remained shuttered for over fifteen years, as if waiting for something new.
